She was born on June 3, 1933, on Turtle Creek to the late Arney and Sheva Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband Linsy "Jack" Moore; sister Sylvia King; and brothers, Donald Miller and Kenneth Miller.Jean was a Baptist by faith, a member of Grace Baptist Temple of Saint Albans and attended Shalom Baptist Church in Fraziers Bottom. Jean was a 1951 graduate of South Charleston. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She was a 50+ year member of the Buffalo Order of the Eastern Star #150.She is survived by her son Brian "Dale" Moore Sr. (Kim) of Pliny; daughter Terri Moore Craig (David) of Pliny; and Special Daughter Rose Gatens (Bernie) of Fraziers Bottom; grandchildren Brisa Moore, Dayle Petry, Linsy Craig (JT) and Brian Dale Moore Jr.; brother, Arney Miller Jr. (Lana) of Hurricane, seven great-grandchildren; special fur baby Maddie; and many other extended family and friends.Funeral service for Jean will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield, with Pastor Bernie Gatens officiating.
